I had been putting off selling my 911 for months now as it's been so hard to let go of this absolute beauty that I'd thoroughly enjoyed for the last 4 years. However, it was time to move on to something more practical, so off I went searching for a new home.....well, the best price.....for her.I'd checked out a few other dealers before stumbling across Phillips on Yelp. I had a feeling I was going to get another low ball offer for my car, but thought I'd give them a shot....no harm trying. I filled out the form on their website, and I was contacted by Chris shortly after. He informed me that his boss (Malcom) was very interested, wanted to view my car, and would perhaps make a cash buyout for it. I said ok, and made an appointment to bring my car in a couple of days later.Fast forward 2 days....showed up at the dealership, and wow.....what a lot of really nice cars in their lot, and all visible right off the PCH! I drove in, and Chris happened to be outside. He was really nice and greeted me as I got out of my car, and I was soon introduced to Malcom (the owner).Lets just say that, after some discussion in his office, things went very well, and I was made the offer I was actually looking for. Yes, as a proud owner of the car that I'd babied for more than 4 years I knew it was worth more, but I also had to be realistic that it had to be re-sold so I did take that into account. Nevertheless, I was very happy with the offer, the check was prepared, and paperwork were prepared, and that was it....done deal! Malcom was very nice, easy to talk to, and made a lot of sense in justifying his offer.....I felt that he was very fair and appreciate his honesty and straightforwardness.As I left the dealership, I took one last walk and look around my car.....former car......said my sad and tearful goodbyes.....and moved on with my life ......hmmm, what car should I buy next?! :)... We searched and searched the internet for a Jeep with low miles, in excellent condition that wouldn't break the bank. Throughout the process and after viewing and researching multiple vehicles at multiple dealers all roads led to Phillips Auto. We made the decision to stop in and test drive. Niko was patient and professional and we never felt a bit of pressure. He was equipped with all the information we needed, answered multiple questions, followed up and always returned our calls. When we arrived to pick up our Jeep, he made sure we drove the vehicle one more time and then handed us off to Tim in finance which was also a very quick and professional process. I set an alert awhile back for specs on a specific Toyota Tundra. One came up that fit the bill perfectly for me (white, low miles, tasteful modifications/rims). Turned out it was 80 miles north at a "little no name dealer lot" and at first that worried me, we all hear horror stories about the corner lots with flashy cars sitting there. After contacting an acquaintance that used to work there (odd coincidence), I got connected to Niko, one of their top guys. Did some research on the company, they have been around a long time, great reputation, and the average car on their lot is an $80K+ Porsche/AMG/Lambo (and some $200k+ Bentley). So, you can't really muck it up with a pickup truck if you're used to transacting high-end vehicles. Took me a month to step up and negotiate to terms, but we got it done. Niko and Phillips Auto were professional the whole way. I hitched a ride up, took a quick test drive, and had paperwork done within 20 minutes, no hassle, no BS, no surprises (I did all my homework and paid cash, little margin for error). Mike the head Manager wrapped up the final title and DMV and tax papers swiftly and with candid friendly conversation. I felt no pressure once I was onsite and in their grasp. We got the deal done and everyone was happy. I can confidently recommend Phillips and state they are not "a little no name car lot" they are in fact a high-end automotive dealership with a great staff and superior vehicle products. Do not hesitate to shop or buy here. Ask for Niko on the floor, good kid who will treat you right and with a smile, he knows his cars. Kudos to he, Tim, and Mike for a seamless transaction. They got me again! I was innocently minding my own business and was washing my car next door so I thought I'd walk over and see what the Phillips Auto gang was up to and of course check out their inventory. That's when I saw and accidentally bought my new Jeep. Theresa tossed me the keys and my wife and I were off for a test drive. We instantly loved it and knew we found our next weekend toy. We took it back and went home to do a little research. As always, we found their vehicle to be very competitively priced. I check Carguru religiously and their Jeep was priced below market value. It was priced the same as higher mile vehicles with way less options.I was there the next morning when they opened to pick up my new Jeep. Mike was great and got me in and out in no time. Like the other cars I got from Mike and Theresa, it came with two keys and all the books. Always a nice touch. We took the Jeep off roading today and it was a blast.... More
